Shoes fit perfectly and arrived earlier than expected!

I bought this for a fishing trip up to the Kenai River in Alaska. It rained while I was there, dugh! Bottom line is that while standing in the Kenai River in the rain, wearing this jacket while wearing sock-footed waders, I stayed dry and comfortable. I also caught the best fish while it was raining. Since this jacket rolls up so small, it is now part of my packing for even the shortest trips. The attached hood is another big plus. Now get out there and explore something.

My 5 year old is an active kid, but nothing out of the ordinary. These sneakers ripped where the upper attaches to the sole after 2 wears. I've never had trouble with this brand before, so I will try them again.... though maybe their children's products are just not the same quality as the adult products? I'm exchanging for a new pair, I will update you on my experience. Proceed with caution...

These feel pretty well made and are reasonably comfortable straight out of the box. They do not have the most precise fit and the lacing system is not the best. It is difficult to get them to the right tightness and when you do they seem to give a bit and come slightly loose when you have walked a little way so you need to account for this and do them up tighter than you actually want. Walked for four miles or so straight out of the box through wet grass and sand then hosed them off totally soaking the tops when I got home with them still on my feet and no water got in so they are waterproof. The rubber soles seem pretty hard so should last a long time but they do not have much cushioning and feel pretty firm on your feet. Would not want to spend all day walking in these but ok for shorter walks and general use.
